Duplicates

Snazzy Contacts is revolutionizing contact and address management. For yourself, your team or even for the entire company. One of the big challenges in managing contacts, especially in a team environment, is dealing with duplicates. Snazzy Contacts provides a smart way to eliminating duplicates.

List your duplicates

Snazzy Contacts scans your contact database once a day. If you check “Duplicates” in the main menu, then you will see if there were new duplicates.

In this list, you see the possible duplicates and their duplicate score.

You can sort this list with the menu in top right. You can sort the list by highest or lowest score or by age.

Ignore Duplicates

If a specific duplicate is a false positive or you want to last the duplicates in the contact database, then you can ignore this duplicate by selecting the checkbox on the left side of the duplicate and click on “Ingnore” at the top.

Merge Duplicate automatically

Snazzy Contacts can merge the duplicates automatically. Just select the duplicate and click on “Automatic” at the top.

Merge Duplicates manually

If you click on one of the possible duplicates you can see the details.

In this mask, you can choose which of the contact details you want to keep or discard. You can select one of the names if they differ and you can select which contacts details you want to take over from the duplicate by selecting the checkbox.

If you are finished, then you can choose from the menu at the green check at the top right one of the following options:

• Merge
• Discard New
• Keep Both

If you select “Merge”, then duplicates will be merged with your selection.

If you select “Discard New” the last entry will be discarded.

If you select “Keep Both”, both of the duplicates will stay in your contact database and will be ignored by further duplicate scans.
