
Categories
Categories are a powerful tool to organize your contact data. With the categories you can create a context for your contact data. Arrange your data in categories and assign tags and you’ll find the right contact in no time and provide this for campaigns and customer activities.
In the main menu you will find the administration of the categories.
Adding new categories

To add a new category simply enter the name of the new category. If you wish, you can add a further description. It is mandatory to select the group of this category. You can choose among the different types of contacts “Person” and “Organization” or the different types of contact details “Address” or “Contact”.
Editing categories

If you wish to edit a existing category, just click on the stencil beside the category and enter the new name and click on “Save Changes”.
Deleting categories

If you wish to delete a existing category, then click on the trashcan an confirm the deletion.
See entries with a category
You can click on a category for persons or a category for organizations to see the entries which are labelled with this category.
Search by category
You can search entries by category, if you type “category:Name_of_Category” in the search bar.
