
User Groups
With the User Groups in Snazzy Contacts, you can manage the permissions to your contacts. Each user can be a member of one or more user groups and this leads to full control of the access rights to the entries in your database.
Add a User Group
First give the new User Group a name and description and the just click on “ADD USER GROUP”.
Change User Group Permissions
After you’ve added an user group you can change the permissions by clicking on the configuration icon.
Here you can check the read, write or edit permissions.
Delete User Group
If you want to delete an user group, just click on the thrashcan beside the group name and delete the group.
Add Members to User Groups
If you want to add members to an user group, change the view to the “Member List”. Under the user you will find the icon to add the user to user groups.
If you click on the icon you can add this user to the user group you specify.
Specify the User Group of an Entry in your Database
If you want to specify a user group for setting the permissions to an entry in your database, you must edit the entry and add the user group in the “User groups” Section.
